Hawthorne resident arrested with 2.5 pounds of marijuana in Paterson

A Hawthorne resident was arrested with 2.5 pounds of marijuana on Tuesday afternoon.
Tambe Adzen, 39-year-old, was pulled over in a motor vehicle stop on Garrison Street and West Broadway at around 2:20 p.m., police said.
Adzen’s vehicle and residence was searched by police. 56 bags of marijuana was confiscated, police said.
Police charged Adzen with possession, distribution, and distribution 1,000 feet of School 14 and 500 feet of Commons Field.
