Youth belong at home. There have been countless young victims and some even died due to being in the streets unsupervised, yet parents continue to let their kids out in the dangerous streets? imo, they are just inept idiots or simply don't care if their kids are harmed or killed. Instead of so many youth programs,we need mandatory programs that teach parents how to properly raise and protect their children. Mine were not allowed out,and many other parents do not allow their kids out in the streets. They were raised to respect their parents and elders, which means they listen to their parents and do what they say. It is the role of the parent to set rules for their children at an early age,and to strictly enforce those rules. If parents are not doing this, and allowing kids to do whatever they want, they should not be shredding tears when something horrible happens to their kids, as it is their fault that the kids were in the situation in the first place.Prevention should be the first and only option.
