Filming means no parking in some Paterson streets for next ten days

A pair of production companies will be filming in Paterson over the next ten days, limiting street parking for motorists.

Filming will take place around City Hall and a pizzeria in South Paterson. No streets will be closed, but there will be no parking.

Municipal officials urge residents to plan ahead and make use of numerous parking garages in the city.

No parking times and locations are below:

Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 10 p.m. through Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 10 p.m.:

  • Van Houten Street: Between Church Street and Washington Street
  • Ellison Street: Between Washington Street and Church Street
  • Colt Street: Between Market Street and Ellison Street
  • Washington Street: Between Van Houten Street and Market Street
  • Church Street: Between Market Street and Van Houten Street
  • Market Street: Between Memorial Drive and Washington Street.

Thursday, May 2 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.:

  • Main Street: Between Madison Avenue and Montclair Avenue
  • Robert Street: Between Main Street and Getty Avenue
  • Getty Ave: Between Robert Street and Madison Avenue.

Thursday, May 2 from 10 p.m. through Saturday, May 4 at 12 p.m.:

  • Market Street: Between Memorial Drive and Washington Street
  • Church Street: Between Market Street and Van Houten Street
  • Van Houten Street: Between Church Street and Main Street
  • Ellison Street: Between Main Street and Church Street.

Tuesday, May 7 from 10 p.m. through Wednesday, May 8 at 10 p.m.:

  • Ellison Street: Between Washington Street and Church Street
  • Colt Street: Between Market Street and Ellison Street
  • Washington Street: Between Van Houten Street and Market Street
  • Market Street: Between Memorial Drive and Washington Street.

Wednesday, May 8 from 10 p.m. through Thursday, May 9 at 10 p.m.:

  • Main Street: Between Broadway and Memorial Drive
  • Washington Street: Between Memorial Drive and Market Street
  • Broadway: Corner of Main Street to the Supermarket
  • Fair Street: From Main Street to the Dead End net to the Parking Authority Lot.
