A city man wanted on multiple outstanding criminal warrants was arrested on Tuesday afternoon allegedly in possession of crack cocaine and heroin, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.

Detectives observed Corey Nero, 46-year-old, in the area of Hamilton Avenue and Paterson Street at around 1:40 p.m. He was quickly placed under arrest for three outstanding Passaic County Superior Court criminal warrants for drug dealing.

Nero had a big bulge on the right side of his sweatpants pocket. His pocket allegedly contained 47 blue zip-lock baggies of crack cocaine, 6 orange zip-lock baggies of crack cocaine, and 93 glassine envelopes of heroin.

Nero was charged with six drug offenses and lodged at the Passaic County Jail.
