Paterson boy found dead near site of food deliverywoman’s homicide

A city teenager was found dead on Harrison Street, a block from where a DoorDash driver making a food delivery was killed, over the weekend.
Municipal officials said the 13-year-old boy’s body was recovered from the area of 133 Harrison Street.
Police responded to the location at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
No official information has been released about the incident.
On Friday night, 43-year-old Petra Rhoden, who was making a food delivery, was killed a block away at 259 Harrison Street. Police found her with apparent shooting injuries in a vehicle that crashed through a fence and hit a shed, according to information released by the Passaic County prosecutor.
On Sunday morning, a 33-year-old woman was injured in a shooting on 6th Avenue.
All three incidents remain under investigation.
Municipal officials plan to convene an emergency meeting at the City Council on Monday afternoon to discuss the violence plaguing the city.
