On October 6, 2019, police found the body of 13-year-old K’Zure “Kay Kay” Credle in the area behind 133 Harrison Street at around 3:45 p.m.

An autopsy determined Credle’s death was caused by a gunshot wound to the head and manner of death was ruled a homicide, authorities said.

Credle and the other boy were hanging out together and playing with a handgun. The gun accidentally went off, hitting Credle in the back of the head as the other boy was playing with the weapon, authorities said.
