A city man was killed and another wounded in a shooting on Belle Avenue late Sunday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Anthony Anglin, 38, of Paterson, was fatally shot and died at 6:25 p.m. Police responded to report of a shooting outside 21 Belle Avenue at around 5:43 p.m.

Police found evidence of a shooting, but the victims were no longer at the scene. Both victims arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center by private vehicle seeking treatment for injuries.

Fabian Anglin, 42, of Paterson, survived. He sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound, authorities said.
