A Prospect Park man was killed in a shooting early Monday afternoon in Paterson, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Niyam Deloatch, 20-year-old, was found with apparent gunshot wounds at around 1:01 p.m. after police received information about a shooting on North 1st Street and Haledon Avenue.
Deloatch was rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. He died from his injuries a short time later, police said.
