The police arrested four people, seized heroin, and pills during a raid at a Sussex Street house on Monday, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.

Miguel A. Garcia, 30, of Paterson; Nidal Deeb, 28, of Paterson; Randa Zughbi, 24, of Lyndhurst; and Jose O. Resendaz, 42, of Paterson, were arrested during the raid at 370 Sussex Street.

Police said Deeb resides in the first floor of the house. Police identified Garcia as anĀ alleged supplier to drug dealer Deeb. Garcia was charged with two drug offenses.

Deeb was charged with 12 drug offenses. He allegedly sold Xanax to Zughbi and heroin to Resendaz.

Zughbi and Resendaz were each charged with possession.

Police seized 105 glassine envelopes of heroin, 10 Xanax, and 20 Clonazepam pills. Police also seized $690 in cash from Garcia.

Speziale said police received complaints of drug dealing from area residents, including 370 Sussex Street being used as a distribution location.
