Coming out of Ramadan, Muslims know the feeling of hunger, and as a result understand the plight of those who are less fortunate than themselves: the hungry, the homeless, and those in extreme need. On August 21, 2012 a group of young Americans, part of American Turkish Youth Group, will volunteer at Eva’s Village, one of the largest organization with the mission to make poverty history, to serve hot-meals to the poor of Elmwood Park, just east of Paterson, NJ.
