A man, 21-year-old, was stabbed in the back near the corner of Park Ave and Straight Street at about 3:30am.  Police officers patrolling the area found the stabbed man; he was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.

Police have yet to learn of the background story which lead to his stabbing; authorities say the man has been thus far uncooperative.
