Chamberlain Avenue store robbed at gunpoint

A store in Chamberlain Avenue was robbed Tuesday afternoon. A gunman walked into the store, found the sole employee mopping the floor little after 1pm, and held him at gunpoint demanding his possessions as well as the store’s cash register.
The employee surrendered his cell phone and acceded to the gunman’s demands by handing him all the money that was in the till. After taking both the cellphone of the worker and all the money from the register, the gunman fled.
Paterson Police have been investigating the incident.
