Thomas Weir, John F. Kennedy High School teacher, arrested

A teacher from John F. Kennedy High School was arrested by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit on Saturday night for soliciting sex from a minor on Facebook, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Thomas Weir, 50-year-old, messaged a student through Facebook, and offered $50 to take the child to a restaurant. Mr Weir has worked for the Paterson Public Schools for the past 21 years. It was at the restaurant police arrested him.
He was charged with misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child, and so forth.
