A man who was wanted on a charge of burglary in Prospect Park and wanted on a charge of aggravated assault in Hackensack was arrested on Thursday by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office, reported the Record.

Gabriel Santana, 21-year-old, was chased on foot by Rafael Garcia, an officer from the Sheriff’s Office, near Union and Sheridan Avenues; after getting near enough to apprehend the outlaw, a struggled ensued, but eventually Mr Garcia got the upper-hand and managed to capture the wanted individual. The incident unfolded at around 7:30pm.

After the arrest was made, Mr Santana was placed in the back of the police car, where he screamed out curse words, attempted to break the back window by rapid kicks, and banged his head repeatedly against the steel lattice.

Mr Santana faces charges of resisting arrest among others.
