Woman raped on Pearl Street

A woman, who was driving on Pearl Street, found her self the victim of sexual assault, at 2:30am, when an assailant attacked her.
The woman, 39-year-old, got out of her vehicle, early Saturday morning, when she was approached by the suspect who demanded everything she had, and took her belongings. Then the assailant began to sexually assault her; she fought against the suspect, and ran away. The attacker then fled.
Police are investigating the incident.
