29-year-old man pistol-whipped on Ellison Street

A man who was walking on Ellison Street on Sunday night, at around 10:30pm, was attacked by two individuals dressed in hoodies, one of whom had a handgun.
The victim, 29-year-old, was pistol whipped before the assailants ran through his pockets stealing his wallet and phone. The fortunately was not badly attacked, and therefore avoided a trip to the hospital.
Police are investigating the incident.
