2 arrested with 7,850 bags of heroin

A raid Thursday night in Park Avenue resulted in the arrest of two individuals and seizure of more than 7,000 bags of heroin, according to Paterson Police.
Anjel Oqendo, 25, and Randy Garcia,22, were arrested in the raid. When police officers raided the apartment on Park Avenue they found 7,850 bags bags of heroin packaged for street distribution inside small glassine bags. The street value of the narcotics seized by authorities is about $100,000. And $1,600 of cash was found at the house.
Inside the apartment was also another person, a little girl of 4 years.
Both men have been charged with drug possession, endangering the welfare of a child, among other charges. Police are seeking two other persons connected to the drug distribution operation: Ambiory Oqendo and Arturo Pena.
