21-year-old woman wounded in Godwin Avenue

A woman was shot early Tuesday morning near Godwin Avenue, according to Paterson Police.
The victim, 21-year-old, was in the area of Godwin Avenue, at around 3:27am on Tuesday night, when she engaged in a dispute with an unidentified man, who after the conversation became heated, pulled out a gun and shot the woman in the left shoulder.
The woman arrived in a vehicle, according to police. She was struck by bullet while sitting on the passenger side of the car. It is unclear what the two were disputing over.
The 21-year-old was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
