23-year-old wounded while passing by Park Avenue in car

A man, who was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle driving pass Madison Avenue, was wounded by gunfire on Monday night, according to Paterson Police.
The victim, 23-year-old, was sitting in the front seat of the car while it was passing the intersection of Park and Madison Avenues at around 11pm, when he was struck by a bullet in his hand.
The victim did not seek medical help immediately, instead he was driven home; it was later that he came into St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment; the 23-year-old is in stable condition.
Police have yet to figure out why the man did not seek medical attention after being shot or who shot him.
