26-year-old beaten and robbed on Marion Street

A 26-year-old man was beaten and robbed on Friday afternoon on Marion Street, according to Paterson Police Department.
The victim, 26, was walking in the Marion Street area, at around 3 p.m., when the attacker, described as a 6 foot Hispanic male, struck him from behind. The attacker continued to hit the man with a blunt object until he was on the ground.
The assailant got away with the victim’s cash. The man was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
