Two teenagers wounded while watching a street fight

Two men fighting near Rosa Parks Boulevard on Tuesday evening were interrupted by a gunmen who fired multiple rounds into the air, wounding two teenage bystanders, who were watching the violence.

The conflict began at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, when two men began to fight near the intersection of Godwin Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard, attracting a bunch of spectators. A gunman walked into the scene, and began firing in the air.

Seeing the gunman, the  two 19-year-olds ran to save themselves, and the gunman, seeing the fleeing teenagers, fired shots at them injuring both. Both victims suffered injuries to the leg, and managed to transport themselves to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where they are being treated.
