33-year-old shot in the buttock on Main Street

A bystander was injured by stray bullet while leaving a bar on Main Street early Friday morning, according to Paterson Police Department.
The victim, 33-year-old, exited Paradise Lounge on Main Street, at around 1:55 a.m. on Friday, when a bullet struck him in the buttock; on the street nearby were a group engaged in a dispute, that turned violent, resulting in one of the individuals introducing a weapon into the argument and shooting.
The 33-year-old was not part of the conflict that was taking place on the street, he happened to be someone walking passed, who was struck by a bullet intended for another.
The victim managed to transport himself to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
