A healthcare company is donating $5,000–$25,000 in healthcare products for a period of two years to Eva’s Village, announced the anti-poverty organization.

Henry Schein, the world’s largest provider of healthcare products and services to office-based dental, animal health, and medical practitioners, will provide the non-profit organization with several healthcare product donations valued at $5,000 to $25,000 over the course of two years, according to Joanne Fagan, spokesperson for the organization.

“By providing a secure source of supplies for our healthcare clinic we are reassured that we will be able to continue to provide the treatment needed for our patients,” stated Marie Reger, director of the organization.

“In 2013 we saw a 55% increase in the number of medical patient visits, compared to 2012,” Reger said. “In 2014 we expect a continued increased demand for our clinics services and we are grateful for assistance from corporations like Henry Schein.”

The organization was founded in 1982 to combat homelessness in the city, and since then has expanded to offer a wide variety of social services to needy residents ranging from meals to medical care.
