Superintendent invites parents for conference to showcase strategic “Brighter Futures” plan

Parents and guardian of city students are invited for the unveiling of school superintendent Donnie Evans’s new strategic “Bright Futures” plan on Saturday, October 18 at Eastside High School.
The conference will kick-off at 9:00 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be provided for attendees. The event will feature parent workshops to improve student achievement, increase parental involvement at schools, and promote healthy school cultures.
School officials will discuss student performance. Evans will be the first presenter at the conference. Officials will also hold a special prize give-away.
