A commission created by the state’s legislature to study violence in the Garden State is holding a meeting to seek public input inside the Passaic County Community College on Monday October 27.

Chairwoman of the commission Passaic County prosecutor Camelia Valdes will begin the session at 6 p.m. Valdes and a panel of academics, health and law enforcement officials want public input to examine violence as a public health issue in order to find solutions to address violence in the state.
