Slip and fall incident near Main Street cost city $3,000

A woman, who fell and injured herself at the intersection of Main and Market Streets, successfully sued the city, resulting in a settlement.
Rosa Ramos alleged she slipped and fell on the sidewalk on February 10th, 2011 near Main and Market Streets.
Ramos sustained injuries from the fall. She brought a successful lawsuit against the city which resulted in the city council settling her claims for $3,000, according to city records.
Council members approved the settlement during a special meeting on Wednesday evening.
