Sheriff dismantles 20th Avenue heroin mill arresting two

A heroin distribution facility on 20th Avenue was dismantled by detectives leading to the arrest of two suspected drug dealers on Wednesday, according to the Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.
The suspected drug dealers city Junior Flores, 45, and Bronx resident Adolfo Henriquez, 34, were arrested during raid on Wednesday at 317 20th Avenue.
Berdnik said Flores and Henriquez were arrested when detectives raided both floors of the residence. The sheriff said the apartments were used for the sole purpose of storing, packaging, and distributing heroin.
Detectives found scant furniture in in the apartment leading them to conclude the apartments were used for one purpose, to unload drugs onto city streets. “The first floor apartment was rather easy to search for the detectives, with no furniture and only minimal personal belongings,” said Berdnik.
Berdnik said detectives found fold up tables, several chairs, and Rubbermaid bin containing approximately 1.25 ounces of heroin worth $2,000. Authorities also found grinder, digital scale, rubber band, cutting agents, and thousands of empty glassine bags that are used for packaging heroin.
Flores and Henriquez are charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a public schools, conspiracy to distribute drugs, and first-degree operating a drug production facility
Berdnik said the two suspects are being held in Paterson police lockup pending bail.
