The suspects were charged with various drug offenses including distributing narcotics near a South Paterson park and distributing within a school zone.

Husien, who resides at the residence that was raided by police, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of 280 grams of marijuana for distribution near a park and a school zone.

Police also seized $323 in cash from Husien as well as another $2,452 from his residence.

The second minor from Paterson was found in possession of 234 grams of marijuana. Police charged him with drug possession, possession with the intent to distribute near a park and a school zone.

Speziale said police officers were conducting surveillance of the property due to complaints from residents. He praised the city’s police for their work.

“Our efforts to work in collaboration with the community are paramount,” said Speziale. “The men and women of the department are dedicated to welfare of the citizens and responsive to their complaints.”

“Together, block by block we will take the streets back and achieve a safer Paterson,” said Speziale.
