The Eastside Neighborhood Association is hosting its annual historic house and garden tour on Sunday, May 3.

Visitors will tour opulent mansions that once sheltered the city’s prominent and wealthy residents. They will also see an award winning garden, a landscaped garden with statutory, and a flower herb box garden. The self-guided tour will feature a variety of homes with varying architectural styles and designs.

Tour goers will be able to purchase tickets beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the White House in historic Eastside Park.

The event will also feature a tour of the Historic Eastside Park. The Paterson Historic Preservation Commission will discuss the city’s park movement at 1 p.m., before conducting a tour of the historic park at 1:30 p.m.

Visitors will also get a chance to see the City Green Farm near the White House. At the park the Paterson Chapter of the Blue Knights International Enforcement Motorcycle Club will display their motorcycles.

Admission to the tour is $25; both cash and check made out to Eastside Neighborhood Association will be accepted. Tickets will be sold at the park’s pavilion between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
