Paterson man grazed in the chin by bullet on 9th Avenue

A city man suffered laceration to his face after a bullet grazed his chin area late Saturday night, according to the Paterson Police Department.
The 39-year-old victim told police he heard multiple gunshots in the area of 9th Avenue and East 18th Street at around 11 p.m. and realized he was grazed in the chin area. The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment of a face laceration at around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.
On arrival to the hospital, the victim told police he was wounded more than three hours ago on 9th Avenue. Police said the victim was treated and released from the hospital.
