A 34-year-old man selling narcotics out of his home in Paterson was arrested on drug charges on Tuesday, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.

Terrence Hedgeman, 34, is charged with various drug offenses. Authorities recovered 50 zip lock baggies of crack cocaine, 70 glassine envelopes of heroin, and nine bags of marijuana during a search of his Coral Street residence, Berdnik said.

Narcotics recovered from Hedgeman’s home has a $1,000 street value, authorities said. Hedgeman also had three outstanding child support warrants amounting to $44,608, authorities said.

Authorities said he also had various narcotics charges under his name. Berdnik said Hedgeman is set to appear before a judge on the new charges.

“I am glad that not the PCSO was able to take not only a drug dealer, but a deadbeat father off our streets,” Berdnik said. “The Sheriff’s Office actively enforces all court issued orders and warrants.”
