Anti-recreation tax forum being hosted at School 25

Three neighborhood associations have joined together for a “No New Tax” forum to oppose mayor Jose “Joey” Torres’ recreation tax that will raise $3 million from property owners to support recreational facilities.
The 6th Ward Neighborhood Association, the Eastside Neighborhood Association, and the Hillcrest Neighborhood Association will host the forum on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 at the School 25 gymnasium located at 287 Trenton Avenue.
The forum will begin at 7 p.m.
