Trespasser fatally struck by Hoboken-bound train near Straight Street

A trespasser was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train on Friday morning, according to authorities.
The unidentified victim was trespassing on the train tracks near Straight Street at around 9:15 a.m. when he was struck by the Main Line train 1212 coming from Waldwick and was heading towards Hoboken.
Authorities said the accident delayed the train by 15-minute, but service resumed at around 10 a.m.
None of the passengers on the train were injured.
