Paterson hosting Christmas tree lighting ceremony

The city’s annual Christmas tree lightening tradition continues this Saturday, November 28, 2015 with a ceremony in front of the City Hall.
The event will feature pictures with Santa Claus, meet and greet with Frosty and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, and holiday crafts.
A Xbox One will be raffled at the event. Festival will begin at 5 p.m. and run through 8 p.m.
Mayor Jose “Joey” Torres will light the 35-foot tall Christmas tree at 7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the downtown Paterson businesses, city recreation division, and the Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ).
All families are invited to attend.
The festival starts at 5 p.m.
