A city man wanted on a drug warrant was arrested Thursday morning on drug charges for having 208 envelopes of heroin, 35 baggies of crack cocaine, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.
Raymond Clark, 37-year-old, was arrested at around 11:15 a.m. Thursday at 556 Summer Street, Berdnik said.
Detectives Ryan Dockray , Chinere Mills , and Michael Pascale visited the home to execute two outstanding drug court warrants. They met and confirmed Clark was wanted on a warrant at the door and placed him under arrest, authorities said.
While accompanying Clark to get his clothing from the bedroom, detectives saw 208 glassines of heroin and 35 baggies of crack cocaine on the dresser along with $1,010 in cash. Detectives confiscated both the drugs and the cash.
Clark was charged with two counts of drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and possession with intent to distribute 1,000 feet of a school.
Clark is being held at the Passaic County Jail pending court hearings.
