Paterson woman receives $95,000 in car accident case involving police officer

The city council on Wednesday night approved a resolution paying $95,000 to a woman who claimed she was injured in a motor vehicle accident involving a police officer.
Pamela Danzy lived on Coral Street at the time of the accident, according to New Jersey Superior Court documents.
The case lacks details of her injuries or information about the accident which occurred in 2012. She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Ead Dicklon when the vehicle was involved in an accident with a city vehicle operated by police officer Pedro Borrero.
Council members approved the $95,000 settlement for Danzy in a special meeting on Wednesday night.
