Eight city nonprofit organizations providing a diverse array of services for children, men, and women have teamed up to encourage people to donate on Giving Tuesday by visiting give2paterson.org.

“The holiday season is the perfect time to give thanks for all we have, but also to consider helping those less fortunate,” Jennifer Brady, executive director of Oasis, a group dedicated to helping women and children, said. “This #GivingTuesday, we encourage those who are familiar with Paterson to check out give2paterson.org and support one of the local non-profits who are committed to transforming lives on a daily basis.”

Oasis is among a group of eight organizations that have joined forces to encourage giving this holiday season. Other organizations are CUMAC, the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic, Eva’s Village, Hamilton Partnership for Paterson, New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC), Paterson Habitat for Humanity, and St. Paul’s Community Development Corporation.

The grouping represents a variety of programs and services with missions to improve the lives of people in Paterson and northern New Jersey. Learn more about the mission of each of the nonprofit organizations by visiting the effort’s donation page.

Donations can be made with just a click of the button.
