Two men from Ridgefield and West Milford were arrested on drugs and joyriding charges early Friday morning on Paterson Street in Paterson inside a stolen county government truck, according to Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik.

Anthony Cinque, 20, of Ridgefield, and Thomas Wall, 27, of West Milford, were inside a white pickup truck with New Jersey county government plates that was reported stolen out of North Bergen.

Sheriff’s officer Jason Michaels was conducting increased patrol of the rear parking lot at Triangle Village due to drug use complaints from residents. Michaels identified the vehicle reported stolen on February 19, 2017 and approached at around 2 a.m.

Cinque, the driver, admitted to stealing the vehicle, authorities said. He was placed under arrest for vehicle theft and drug possession.

Authorities found 20 glassine envelopes of heroin and 4 plastic baggies of crack cocaine from the vehicle.

Wall, passenger in the vehicle, was arrested for joyriding. Both men had multiple criminal and traffic warrants out of Paterson, Franklin, and Bergen County Superior County, authorities said.

Cinque and Wall were processed and being held at the Passaic County Jail.

Corporal Craig Goodson, officers Martin Sanabria, Carlos Aymat, Patrick Holt, and sergeant Damian Priddy assisted in the arrest, Berdnik said.

Correction (3/6/2017): A previous version of this report erroneously stated Thomas Wall was a resident of West New York when in fact he is a resident of West Milford.
