East Orange man charged with attempted murder in Paterson shooting

26-year-old East Orange resident Tommie Pulliam has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a 22-year-old man in Paterson on Sunday evening, according to police.
Police also charged Pulliam with weapons offenses. He was identified as the actor in the incident by Ceasefire Unit detectives Francisco Brito and Salvatore Marotta. Detectives arrested Pulliam in East Orange with assistance from the New Jersey Division of Parole, said police director Jerry Speziale on Wednesday morning.
Pulliam is accused of shooting a 22-year-old East Orange man on Fulton and Summer Streets in Paterson at about 8:10 p.m. on Sunday, said police.
Speziale said Pulliam is being held at the Passaic County Jail pending court hearing.
