Police are seeking public assistance to identify a “person of interest” in the armed robbery of a Kentucky Avenue used tire business.

An armed man with a handgun entered Full Circle Used Tires at 36 Kentucky Avenue on February 1st, 2017 at about 7:40 p.m. as employees were preparing to close the business for the day.

The suspect forced two employees to the ground and committed an armed robbery of the employees and the business, said police.

Police said the employees called 911 after the suspect left the business. Detectives retrieved surveillance footage that shows an individual in the area at the time of the robbery.

Detectives are attempting to identify this individual and interview him as part of their investigation.

Police ask anyone with information to contact detectives Mary Martinez and Benny Ramos at 973-321-1120.
