Paterson pays out $15,000 to woman for slip and fall incident

The city council approved a $15,000 payment to a woman who fell on a public sidewalk.
Garnet Abney allegedly fell on a public sidewalk on October 9th, 2013, according to city records. She sued the city and and received $15,000.
Abney alleges she suffered injuries to her shoulder area.
Council members settled her lawsuit on Tuesday night.
