Paterson police quickly make arrest in Park Avenue shooting

A city man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder for allegedly wounding a 39-year-old man on Park Avenue earlier today, authorities said.
Juan Sosa, 50-year-old, is also charged with weapons offenses. He was allegedly in possession of a sawed-off shotgun, authorities said.
Authorities said he wounded the victim at 465 Park Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday. He is expected to appear at central judicial processing on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Prosecutors intend to file motion for pretrial detention, authorities said.
