Police arrested city resident John McNeal, 37, and Lorele Harris, 28, of Charlotte, North Carolina various drug offenses at about 3:49 p.m.

McNeal and Harris ran a drug production “factory” out of 490 Park Avenue Apt. 7 and 83-85 N 5th Street, said the director. Both locations were raided. 1,128 glassines of heroin, 113 grams of crack-cocaine, 394 grams of marijuana, and 102 grams of powder cocaine were seized.

Police recovered 4 scales, a ceramic, a pot, a green plastic plate, straight razor all with residue, said the director.

$5,808 was taken from McNeal. He lives at the apartment on Park Avenue, according to police. He was charged with maintaining a drug production facility among other charges.

Harris was charged with possession and distribution.

“This raid is indicative of the skillful investigators of Paterson’s narcotics division,” said Speziale.
