A 27-year-old man from Paterson was wounded in a shooting in Hawthorne early Thursday morning, according to authorities.

Authorities said the victim suffered a single gunshot wound at around 5:20 a.m. in the area of 55 Westervelt Avenue in Hawthorne.

The victim was rushed to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. Authorities continue to investigate the shooting.
