Clifton man shot in stomach during Paterson robbery

A man from Clifton was wounded in the stomach on Wednesday night on Main Street, according to police.
Authorities said the victim, 43-year-old, sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound while in the area of Main Street and Broadway at around 8:45 p.m. He was operating a jitney bus when a suspect fired shots in the course of a robbery.
Police said the victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
