Paterson schools hosting two budget community forums

The city’s school district is hosting two community forums at John F. Kennedy High School and Eastside High School next week to hear from community residents on next year’s school budget.
Superintendent Eileen Shafer and business administrator Richard Matthews will give presentations focusing on financial challenges and budget priorities at both forums.
Both forums will include question and answer sessions.
First forum is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at John F. Kennedy High School. Forum starts at 6 p.m. at 61 Preakness Avenue.
Second forum is on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Eastside High School. Forum starts at 6 p.m. at 150 Park Avenue.
Translators will be available at both forums.
