Paterson police arrest two men for allegedly dealing drugs on 17th Avenue

A surveillance operation prompted by complaints of drug dealing on 17th Avenue and East 18th Street produced two arrests on Wednesday afternoon, according to police director Jerry Speziale.
Detectives arrested city residents Thomas Jackson, 43, of 17th Avenue, and Victor Quintero-Martinez, 46, of Park Avenue. Both men were charged with drug possession and distribution charges.
49 glassines of heroin, 64 jars of marijuana, and a digital scale was confiscated during the bust, said the director.
Police took $709 from Quintero-Martinez.
