A store in the city sold a winning $1 million lottery ticket, New Jersey Lottery officials said on Monday morning.

Millennium Express of 21st Avenue sold the million-dollar ticket that matched the five white balls drawn at last Friday’s drawing.

Friday’s winning numbers for the Mega Millions were 28, 34, 41, 46, and 47.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” John White, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, said. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”

Millennium Express, 400 21st Avenue, was one of two locations in New Jersey to sell a million-dollar ticket. The other was Wegmans, 2 Centerton Road in Mt. Laurel.
