The police arrested members of the street gang “Glock Boys” during a raid at an Arch Street house on Friday evening seizing more than 2,100 glassine envelopes of heroin and two handguns, according to police director Jerry Speziale.

Police arrested 10 people during the raid at 50 Arch Street at around 7:05 p.m. Matthew Hogan, 27; Bilal McFadden, 21; and Aldavon Thomas, 34, all residents of 50 Arch Street, were arrested on drugs and weapons charges.

Kazmeek Jackson, 24, of Temple Street, was also charged. Authorities arrested a number of juveniles in the raid.

Police seized 2,126 glassine envelopes of heroin, 25 baggies of crack cocaine, and 14 bags of marijuana. A Smith & Wesson .40 caliber and a Glock 17 9mm handguns were confiscated with 30 rounds of 9mm extended magazine and hollow point ammo.

Authorities confiscated $1,003 in alleged drug proceeds.

“Narcotics personnel and the community trust and engagement has proven to be extremely successful in combatting group violence and narcotics activity,” Speziale said. Authorities received a confidential tip into drug activity at 50 Arch Street.
