Two Paterson men arrested with ‘El Chapo’ branded heroin, crack cocaine

A pair of city men were arrested in a drug bust on Broadway with “El Chapo” stamped heroin and crack cocaine, according to police.
Johnny S. Thompson, 39, and, Isiah J. Hinton, 18, were arrested when police raided 282 Broadway on May 17, authorities said this week.
Police recovered 24 baggies of crack cocaine and 30 glassine envelopes of heroin, authorities said.
Thompson known on the street as “Smooth” was charged with having 24 baggies of crack cocaine.
Hinton was charged with possession of 30 glassine envelopes of heroin stamped “El Chapo” in blue ink.
Police additionally charged Thompson and Hinton with intent to distribute and distribute near School 6.
